Iivanilde was super great, with my grandparents! They were both so grateful to have someone to care for them just how a family member would do, treat them like they were family and that is exactly what iivanilde did with my Nonna and papa. So thank you, iivanilde! From the bottom of my heart. I truly recommend her for others to hire. If you want someone that you think would feel like a family member she is the right candidate for the position to care for others in your house or department or hospital. She is super great, flexible, reliable and responsible. Super funny and joy to be around at all times!

Hello! My name is Lina and I am currently seeking a childcare position (30 hours/week, Monday–Thursday) starting September 2026. Before coming to the United States, I gained experience caring for babies and children in Colombia. Since then, for two years, I was an Au Pair with a family, taking care of their two girls (ages 2 and 6). I also spent a year caring for a 4-year-old girl, and most recently, I cared for a baby girl from the time she was 4 months old until she turned 1. I’m now looking for a new position because she is transitioning to daycare. As a full-time caregiver, I have handled everything related to the children in my care, including: following sleep schedules, nap and bedtimes, changing diapers and potty training, bottle and meal preparation, bathtime, and taking them to classes and scheduling playdates with other nannies. I have hands-on experience caring for infants and babies, and I truly love watching them grow, it’s one of the most rewarding parts of this work for me. I have additional experience working with various families as a babysitter, from infants to school-age kids. I am a patient, responsible, and trustworthy person who enjoys working with children, learning about them, and helping them grow. I pride myself on being committed to my work. I am reliable and dedicated to creating a nurturing, safe, and loving environment for the children I care for. I am also CPR certified and happy to provide references upon request. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I look forward to the opportunity to work with a new family starting in September!

Lina took care of our biggest treasure in the world for half a year, and, had our schedule not changed, we would have counted ourselves lucky to continue having her spend time with our now toddler. Lina is sweet, helpful, thoughtful, punctula, and incredibly attuned to the baby's needs; whether they are getting a clean diaper, a milk bottle at just the right temperature, or making sure conditions are just right for a nap. We never worried about miscommunications because she always asked for clarifications if something seemed unclear. Like other families have said, our baby loves her so much!!! Seeing Lina arrive makes our baby squeal with joy. We love her so much! Any child and family who have her in her life are assured a ray of sunshine even in the darkest of days. We are happy to talk to you if you have any questions about our experience with her.

I bring a positive and energetic attitude to my work, and I value creating a calm, nurturing space where children feel comfortable, secure, and happy. Being around kids genuinely brings me joy. I’m also very comfortable with pets and have no restrictions or allergies. I’m looking for a family where I can build a strong, trusting relationship and become a reliable and supportive presence in your daily routine.

Djane was a fantastic nanny and babysitter for our daughter (3.5yo) and son (1yo). She is incredibly responsible, organized, and our kids absolutely loved spending time with her. She did fun things with them (library, crafts, park - and taught our daughter to swing on her own!) and was considerate about details such as packing lunch, healthy snacks, etc. We were so fortunate to work with her, and we always felt that our kids were in incredibly safe hands. We still stay in touch with her and would highly recommend.

She is always on time, rarely ever takes days off, and is willing to take on additional tasks in the home such as meal prep and light cleaning. With 9 years of childcare experience: I am an energetic, creative, and dependable sitter who loves helping children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. My approach to childcare is deeply rooted in family and community. As one of the oldest members of my family’s younger generation, I naturally grew into a role centered around care, responsibility, and making younger children feel safe and comfortable. Those experiences raised me to be adaptable, attentive to individual needs, and comfortable with all kinds of personalities. For nearly a decade, childcare has been one of my primary sources of work and has given me experience caring for children across a wide range of ages. I’m comfortable supporting the full rhythm of a family’s day, including school and activity pick-ups/drop-offs, errands, meal preparation, diaper changes, bedtime routines, and light housekeeping related to the children. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified. I do not have my own car, but do have a driver’s license if needed. I also bring an academic and professional background in advocacy and research. I hold a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Ethics and completed two years of law school. After completing two years, I realized it was best to ground my advocacy within the realm of childcare responsibilities. When I’m not caring for kids, I am applying my legal training through independent research -- holding a strong focus of community advocacy. Ultimately, I love that childcare provides the opportunity to combine my creativity, sense of responsibility, and passion for working with children in a meaningful way. Feel free to contact me for references or to set up a call! I’d love the opportunity to learn more about your family and how I can support your childcare needs. I’m excited to bring my passion and positive attitude to families in New York.

Hi, I’m Adama! I’m a full-time finance student and CPR & First Aid certified, currently seeking part-time or occasional babysitting (evenings, weekends, date nights, or short shifts). I have 3–4 years of childcare experience, including caring for children in both home and program settings. I previously worked as a youth mentor with So Shell Butterflies (HANAC) and provided care for a family with three children ages 3–12. I’m calm, reliable, and attentive, and I enjoy keeping children engaged through play, homework help, and outdoor activities. I adapt easily to each family’s routines and prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment where kids feel comfortable and cared for. I’m best suited for families looking for a responsible, dependable sitter rather than full-time childcare. I look forward to supporting families who need flexible, quality care.
