I personally support outdoor free play whenever it’s safe and feasible, even (especially!) in the wintertime. I encourage kids in developing autonomy along with body and emotional awareness. I also promote creative expression through the use of natural and recycled materials in artistry and craft. I am primarily a stay-at-home-mother, so depending on scheduling, my three-and-a-half-year-old son may come along with me for babysitting.
