Just moved into our first home in Crittenden, KY. I have always loved kids & just a few years ago I received my CDA (Child Development Associates). I have worked at two childcare centers. I was a lead teacher in the first one and then an assistant turned into lead teacher at my second one. The age groups I am specialized in are toddlers & infants. That’s what I tend to stick to in a daycare setting but have experience with ages 6weeks to 14 years old (including children with special needs). I’ve always been the family & friends’ babysitter & would babysit kids at my daycare as well!

I am 29 years old and I have babysat for about 9 years with a wide age range of children. I have CPR Training and Child Abuse. I have a special education license and Live Oaks career passport showing I have early childhood qualifications.

Kids are so much fun to work with! I love nurturing their imaginations through arts and crafts, pretend play and encouraging new learning by giving them developmentally-appropriate opportunities. I have worked with kids for 10 years, in summer camps, babysitting jobs, a daycare, nannying and also as an assistant teacher. While my bachelors degree is in French, I did take a number of education classes so I am familiar with teaching protocols. I am also CPR/First said certified. I have a clean driving record and love park, nature and library excursions with kiddos!

I like being a sitter because I enjoy helping children with their development. I find helping and caring for children in the earliest years of their lives to be very special. In the summer of 2024, I babysat two little girls. I played, fed, bathed, and put these two girls to bed. One of the girls was being potty trained, which I assisted with. However, I have a great deal of other experience working with children. Additionally, my experience of graduate school has taught me different skills that I would like to try with potential children whom I may babysit. I am expected to attain a Master of Science in School Psychology at the end of July. In my graduate program, I learned effective ways of reinforcing appropriate behaviors and reducing inappropriate behaviors. I learned how to effectively use praise, reinforcement, and time-out. For example, I learned how to use Parent/Teacher-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT or TCIT), which aims to enhance appropriate behavior in children with behavioral and emotional difficulties. I also learned about different teaching strategies that can help children, such as incremental rehearsal. Incremental Rehearsal is a flashcard technique that can teach children different learning techniques. Thus, along with caring for children, I can help them with their school work and increase their academic achievement. From August 2023 to May 2024, I worked as an instructional assistant at Springer School and Center for middle school students. It is a school for children with learning and behavioral difficulties, such as dyslexia and ADHD. I had many responsibilities at Springer, such as grading papers, managing behavior and concentration amongst students, and helping children with classwork. Moreover, I led an intervention class on writing and typing. From March 2024 to June 2024, I tutored students from the community at Springer. Additionally, I worked as a counselor in the Cleveland Clinic’s ADHD Summer Treatment Program for two summers. I worked with children with ADHD and behavioral issues. For instance, I utilized reinforcement to increase positive behaviors and punishment to decrease negative behaviors via a token economy. I also created weekly behavioral goals for two children in my group and closely examined their progress during the program. I attained First Aid/CPR certification in September of 2024 as well. I am excited to meet potential families.

Hi! Currently I am a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati and have lived in the greater Cincinnati area my whole life! I am a stay at home mother of a 5 year old boy and a 5 mo old baby girl. I have been working for the past 8 years for the Great Parks of Hamilton County as a Conservation & Parks Technician. I am looking for some part time work while still caring for my babies. My son just started Kindergarten. I drop him off at 8:30 and pick him up at 3:30 every week day. We love to play outside and visit different playgrounds around the area. We have a large backyard with a play set, a sandbox, and a garden to play in.
