Hello, my name is Kelly. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preK-3rd) from Ashland University (2004) with 25 years of child care experience. I currently work as a paraprofessional in a local city school district during the school year. I was a preschool teacher prior to this and also have many years of experience working with toddlers. I am comfortable watching children of any age from newborns through school age. As a mom myself, I have become very good at finding free & inexpensive activities for kids to do. I am certified in First Aid and CPR giving you peace of mind knowing that your children are being cared for by a qualified individual. Currently I’m available for occasional or date nights as I am working with 2 families through Sittercity & a client referral. I am experienced with newborn, toddlers & school age children.  I am always open to occasional sitting so that the family & I can get acquainted.  I really like reading & playing & visits to the library. I previously finished a job with a Westlake family of 3 boys. The boys are older now & are taking care of themselves. Mom would travel for a week to conventions, dog & horse shows as she sells animal supplements. When I started with the family the 2 adopted girls were 4 & 5. Formula, park & library visits, preparing meals for the whole family or just the kids & getting them to eat & into bed happy are all part of my experience. I love to help with homework or just teach younger children the basics.  I teach children how to cook or bake when appropriate - or just decorating the finished cupcakes!  I am happy to help with light housework tasks & laundry as needed. I love all pets but am allergic to cats. The flag on my background check is because I didn’t come to a complete stop at Jennings & Bagley roads, & there was a police car behind me.        

I have had a child care in my home for many years and have worked in day care centers and I'm also a parent of 6 children .I watch children in my home and also go to watch children in there home. I enjoy watching children and taking the time to help them learn such as learning alphabet and numbers just like a day care and outside time and always follow the parents schedule. I took teaching professions my senior year of highschool where i got CPR, First aid, and child abuse certificates. I love children and i’m currently studying to become an elementary school teacher. Hello! I have always enjoyed working with young children. I began working at a daycare when I was 18 in the infant room. I stayed for 3 years until I was offered a job at a prestigious daycare for the preschool teaching position. I later left when offered a nanny position with a family from my old daycare. I then nannied for 8 years with a few wonderful families. I am currently dispatching full time from 4pm to midnight and nannying part time.
