I’ve been babysitting since I was about 12 years old, so I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience with kids of different ages and personalities. I was a Special Education Science teacher for K–8 students, so working with kids is something I did every day and genuinely enjoyed. I also coach youth soccer, which has helped me build strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to keep kids engaged and active. In terms of training, my teaching background has given me experience with behavior management, routines, and creating a safe, structured environment. I’m also working toward my Master’s degree in Crime Analysis, and I already have my Bachelor’s degree from Tiffin University. I realized after my daughters who don’t need regular sitters had a difficult time finding someone who could come last minute and help out! Feel free to call me if your regular sitter can’t come in. You work from home and have that meeting that you need someone to watch your child/ children for a short time or you just need a break! As a pediatric nurse and postpartum Doula I have had the honor and privilege in providing care from early infancy to teens with and without health concerns. If I am at your house at night I can do light house cleaning, laundry, and pet care.
