Hello all! My name is Hope, and this is just some information about myself to try and make it a little easier and more comfortable for you while deciding your nanny/sitter.. I absolutely love kids, and working in childcare. I'm certified in Adult/Baby AED, CPR, First Aid, and have my certificates in Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse. I was a full time Nanny for 3 separate families, and was the Lead Toddler teacher at Little Scholars Early Learning center in Mentor. Although I loved my job as a teacher, I was offered a position at an Orthodontic office, which better fit my needs at the time, and that is where I’m currently employed, but am looking for more work. I come from a family of 7 children, with 11 nieces/nephews all ranging from newborn-teenager! One of my nephews has spina-bifida and is in wheelchair, so I also have experience with children that have physical challenges. I'm extremely patient with children, and with families. I can work with you! Smoke free, drug free, will submit to any drug tests, or background checks, if necessary. I have my own reliable car and insurance, that I can use on the job, to take your children to and from anywhere they need to be. I can also cook, and or clean if that's what you need. Also if you feel a little apprehensive about hiring someone off a website that you don’t know, which is completely understandable, you can always look me up on Facebook just to check things out. My full name is Hope Everett. My cell phone is (440)796-7393, you can text or call whenever you need to. Feel free to contact me at any time, I can start immediately. I can't wait to interact with, and get to know your family! Please be aware of my availability!

Hello! I am so excited to share with you my story. I am a mother of 2 adult daughters. When our youngest started preschool, I felt lost as I was a stay at home mom for my babies. So what did I do? I started teaching preschool! It was the perfect scenario as I only worked while my daughter was in school. Once she started kindergarten, I moved to a full time position and, again, it was perfect because I only worked while my girls were in school. If they were off I was able to stay home with them. The first year I taught I was with the 18-24 month old group and also helped out in the baby room 2 to 3 times per week. At the end of my first year one of my moms requested I be moved up to Pre-k for her older son so the administrator honored her wishes. I remained at the preschool for a total of almost 13 years. As I was the lead pre-k teacher, I planned all field trips both on-site and off (1 per month), was in charge of the Scholastic book sale, set up a new library and computer lab, planned graduation ceremonies, everything. I also took it upon myself to put together individual yearbboks for all my students - 13-14 each year - including photos and artwork throughout the year to present to them at graduation. Under new management and with the Step-Up program from the state the new administrator decided that all teachers needed to have a college degree. Since I did not have a degree and had no desire to return to college to get one I resigned my position. After I left the preschool I worked in the school district as a recess aide until the district decided to realign their buildings. The school I was in was one that was being shut down. I was at the elementary school for 2 years. I then went to PSI, which is a company that works for the different school systems helping to provide additional staffing personnel. I was hired as a health aide and worked for an elementary school for 2 years - until Covid shut everything down. After the country began to open back up I worked for a family with a 3 month old baby boy and a little 3 year old girl. The father's company moved him out of state and so that was the end of that. Sadly I have lost contact with that family, but I am still in touch with some from my preschool days. During 2023 & 2024 I spent the day taking care of my mon who had been having several health issues. She passed last December and for the majority of this year I have been trying to settle her estate. I would love to work with my littles again!
