I learned to love cleaning and organizing when I worked in a bridal shop for 2 years! It is very relaxing to me and I am a perfectionist! I love to organize, do laundry, clean spaces and see the before and after from the results! I live in sylvania and my schedule is pretty flexible :) I have been a nanny for 3 years now and I have 6 years experience working with children with disabilities. I am also a Christian and love Jesus!

I became a care giver because ever sense I could remember I have always loved kids. I grew up with four brothers, two older and two younger. I would always help my mom with the younger ones, I was like her right hand girl. When I was in high school I decided to go to Penta Career Center for Early Childhood Education, I absolutely loved it. Sadly I did not complete the two year program, instead I chose a different program for my senior year. After I graduated, my first job was Urban Active Playroom/LA Fitness. I worked for them for four years, I loved playing with all the kids while their parents worked out. I would actually play with the kids instead of just sitting and watching them. I left and decided to be a receptionist at Rouen Chrysler. Every time a child would enter the showroom, they would come to me like a magnet, it broke my heart I couldn't play with them so I decided to leave Rouen Chrysler and I started applying to child care centers, I just couldn't deny who I was. I believe that there's a child's imagination in everyone we just need to find it. I found mine, I am now employed at a day center in Waterville. I have been working there for almost a year, two positions have opened up for me to advance. They hired two new people and gave me a floater job which is not enough hours, so i had to resign. I am looking to be a nanny or a babysitter to use my skills to to help children learn and grow.

Hey there, I’m Tori! I have been working in childcare services in Toledo for the past 4 years, currently as an autism therapist (Registered Behavior Technician). I moved to Toledo back in 2019 after graduating from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, minoring in Public Health. I have been CPR/First Aid certified for over 7 years, and first became CPR certified when I was 12 years old so I could babysit. I got my professional start as a pediatric case manager at a community mental health center, often providing child transportation or visiting schools to assist kids in their day-to-day environment. Through that, I realized how much I loved working with kids and helping them to feel understood! I wanted to work more directly in childcare, so I trained to become a Registered Behavior Technician in July 2020. I’ve become highly experienced in ABA, primarily focusing on the child’s interests to promote learning and building skills - both academically and emotionally. After about a year as an RBT, I began training other therapists to prepare for their credentialing exam. It’s been 3 years now, and I’ve gained experience with all sorts of aspects of childcare, including potty training, field trips, teaching in the natural environment, and the importance of play! I especially love getting the kids engaged in sensory play, like bubbles, paint/arts and crafts, and dinosaur digs. I also have tons of recipes for edible sensory play, if your kiddo still explores the world with their mouth haha! Outside of my professional life, I have a deep love and appreciation for music. I’ve been singing my whole life and also picked up a few instruments here and there. I also have found that my love for music crosses over into my work all the time! It makes sense, since I once considered pursuing music education somewhere along the way. I love using music to play, bond with, and even teach the kids! Music can often be a great tool when learning or remembering something new, so I like to use it a lot. I have a puppy, so I’m comfortable with dogs and helping with their care if necessary too! I can’t wait to meet your family!

Hi, I’m Emma! I am 21 years old, with over 9 years of childcare experience. I have babysat all ages with a variety of responsibilities. I have 5 younger siblings, so I grew up helping around the house and with the babies. I absolutely love children! I am in my first semester of nursing school, and I have spent the past 2.5 years employed as a CNA in the ICU of a small hospital. Because of this, I am first aid and BLS certified in all ages. I also love arts and crafts, reading, writing, and spending time outside. I am moving to the Blissfield/Sylvania area in December, so I am looking to start a job sometime in January. Please reach out with any questions!

I am responsible, patient, organized, and dependable. I have strong communication skills and work well with both children and parents. I am good at problem-solving, staying calm under pressure, and creating engaging activities for kids. I also understand the importance of safety, routines, and positive behavior support when caring for children. I have experience caring for children of different ages through babysitting for family, friends, and others in my community. My responsibilities have included supervising children, preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, organizing activities, maintaining routines, and ensuring a safe environment. I am comfortable handling multiple children at once and adapting to each family’s specific needs. I love being a sitter because I enjoy building connections with children and helping create a safe, positive, and fun environment for them. I like being someone families can rely on, whether that means helping with homework, keeping kids entertained, or simply making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Watching children learn, grow, and have fun makes the experience rewarding for me.
