Hello, and welcome to my page! I am currently enrolled as an undergraduate student majoring in Inclusive Elementary Education at OWU, and minoring in Zoology. I possess several years of experience babysitting for parents in my neighborhood, family friends, a handful of families on Care.com, and have watched after my three younger siblings during our adolescence. I also obtain a tutoring background, dabbling in both elementary schools and in homes. I love to read, write, draw, play outside, engage in sporting activities, take care of animals, sing and dance, as well as make kiddos laugh. Having fun is essential in my caretaker philosophy, but safety will always remain my first priority. I am trustworthy, dependable, and most importantly, am able to establish trust and rapport with children. I am a safe and licensed driver, and would be happy to run errands or take the kids to the park and elsewhere, if given permission. Hi!! My name is Stephany. I am one of 10 children, I being the oldest and the youngest being 9 years old. There are 7 boys and 3 girls. Most of them are in there teens now, but I have personal experience with a different ages. One of my brothers is handicapped and diagnosised being mentally retarded with a behavior disorder, so I also have some experience with disabled children as well. I also have experience babysitting outside of my family. I used to babysit for my really good friend who has 2 children. Also from March 2017 to September 2017 I worked in a day care. I started out working my first two weeks in the toddler room and then moved over to the infant room 1-2 years of age, and finally settling into the baby room working with children 6 weeks to 1year. From 2018-2021 I worked for a family who had 4 children various ages. I would focus on the youngest during the school year and would have all 4 during the summer anywhere between 2-4 times a week. I currently started working with a family in September of 2021. I work with several kids now 2-3 regularly. Most of my toddlers will be starting preschool this year, so I am looking to move to in-home care at my house and bring in 1-2 more families or 1-2 more newborns-toddlers long term!!

I have always wanted to be a second grade teacher since I was three years old. I went to college for three years and then took some time off to have my daughter. I'm going back to finish next fall.
