My name is Regan Tischler and I work in children’s services as a social worker. During COVID (2020-2021), I had the opportunity to babysit two separate children from different families. The children were 9 months and 6 months old when I began working with them. I would spend my day being a nanny of the house for one child, while the other had more flexible hours and left me in charge of taking her to and from daycare, while watching the pet and putting breakfast together for the child. I babysat both kids for approximately 2 years. I have worked as a mentor to 3rd-5th grade girls while in college. Over the summer of 2019, I worked at Primrose Daycare in Lewis Center. The age range of children I worked with from day to day was infant to 10 year olds. Some days I worked with 6 week old infants, while others it was second grade students. I grew up with two younger siblings and have a large Italian family on my dads side so I am used to being around tons of kids/babies.

So I was teaching full time and was a student full time. I then was a Director of Children's Ministry and really enjoy that. But my heart was set on the Montessori Method and I opened my own childcare for a while. Now, I am currently teaching Pre-K.
