Hi, I’m Roo!! I’ve been caretaking children since I was little, growing up with four younger siblings of my own. I’ve worked many babysitting and nanny jobs over the years, most of them being families that I continued to babysit for years. I used to work as a youth development professional at a Boys & Girls Club so I’m used to working with big groups of kids as well as smaller ones. My dream is to one day become an elementary school teacher, because I love working with kids, and watching them grow and learn and develop into beautiful people. I’m currently taking some time off school to work. I worked at an early education center for over a year which I just recently left. While at the center I mainly worked with children between the ages of 3-5, however, I do have a lot of experience working with infants as well. Within my time at the center I’ve worked with a variety of different children and behaviors. I am first-aid and CPR certified due to the requirements of the early education center. In high school, I took a two year program dedicated to teaching future educators. I learned a lot about behavior management, meeting the needs of kids, and child development.
