Hello everyone, my name is Tessa and I am currently attending BGSU. I am a junior and am majoring to become an intervention specialist. I am 22 years old and I already have a tremendous amount of experience when it comes to babysitting and caregiving for others. My current job while I am at home is a caregiver for one of my brothers group homes in his business. I am in charge of taking care of 4 low-functioning autistic men and my oldest brother also has low-functioning autism. Just from growing up with him, I have had so many real-life experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. I have also babysat for one family for about 5 years in my hometown that had 3 children (ages when I went away to college were 9,5,2) Babysitting is something that brings me joy and it’s right up my alley when it comes to all the experience that I have. I’ve worked many babysitting and nanny jobs over the years, most of them being families that I continued to babysit for years. I used to work as a youth development professional at a Boys & Girls Club so I’m used to working with big groups of kids as well as smaller ones.
