I’ve always wanted to work with kids, they bring so much light to the world and I love to watch them learn and discover new things. I like to do crafts, explore outside, do learning activities, and also allow them to have the freedom to decide on their own what they’d like to do. I worked in a classroom setting for 2 years, ages ranging from 4 months to 5 years old, I would clean the classroom, do breakfast and lunch, nap times, circle times, walks outside, crafts and different sensory experiences, reading time, and most of all just care for and be there to tend to whatever needs each child would need. I’m very responsible, kind, and dependable.

I’d describe my personality as caring, passionate, hardworking. As the oldest of 13, I have experience with children of all ages. I also love working with animals! It is important to ensure that I work with someone who is the right fit, not just for me but also for the family. In my spare time, I like to sew, paint, draw, knit, spend time with friends, and do outdoor activities when the weather permits. My name is Emily Ann. I’m a stay at home mom of 2 little ones (boy 3, and girl 2), in my early 30s. Before I became a full-time momma, I was in full-time ministry working with children growing up in rough circumstances— I did a lot of social work, and babysitting or acted as a temporary guardian for children ages 3-18 years of age. Before I began that work in full-time ministry I was a full time nanny, and part-time babysitter from the ages of 12-23. Needless to say I love working with children, and enjoy the gift that children are to me and the grown ups around them. I am hoping to find a consistent part-time job or pick extra babysitting gigs here and there that may allow me to bring my kids too. My goal is to remain a full-time stay at home momma, but find opportunities to help bring in some extra income. My husband sometimes has Fridays off and weeks off too, so depending on the timing of the job, I may be able to come in my own. I’m Isabella, and I’m a junior at the University of Oregon and am currently pursuing a double major in Spanish and global studies as well as a minor in political science. I have four younger siblings, and we love playing board games and soccer together and having movie nights on the weekends. In high school I volunteered weekly with special needs schools in my Los Angeles hometown, including Willenburg Special Education Center, Center for Learning Unlimited, and Park Western Place Elementary. I also began tutoring math in my senior year, working with middle and high school students on geometry and algebra. During school breaks I help coach kids’ baseball and soccer, I volunteer teaching art to elementary schools, and I help around at my younger siblings schools, teaching the students to read and assisting the teachers to organize their classrooms. This past spring I was in Spain for three months babysitting and teaching English to the three girls in my host family every day. I absolutely loved working with them and really want to continue working with kids after this experience.
