Hello families! My names Elisabeth. I am a mom to a 10 month old and currently a stay at home mom. Before having my son I was a career nanny of 7 years. I provided full time care for a handful of families as well as part time care. I have the biggest heart for children and truly adore working within childcare! I consider myself to be very proactive, caring and attentive. I have experience providing house work such as deep cleaning like vacuuming, mopping and general tidying up. I also consider myself to be very communicative, dedicated, and kind. I plan to open a faith based preschool in the future, with that being said I deeply value the work that comes with being a nanny. I have a daughter who is 20yrs old. I have worked in schools as an instructional assistant for 10 years, I did before and after school care and babysitting since I was a teenager. I love seeing children grasp concepts from the simplest task to more extreme tasks. I like being a cheerleader for children, offering encouragement and praise even if a mistake is made.

I have had many opportunities to work with and teach children throughout my life. I have been working in elementary special education for the last 9 years! I have participated in trainings for special needs care (including occupational and physical therapy trainings), alternative and augmentative communication, and autism-specific care, as well as social/emotional learning, equity, and culturally responsive teaching. Along with my experience working in education, I have worked as a tutor, full-time nanny, part-time nanny, before and after school babysitter, and as an au pair in Spain! (I’m not fluent, but I do speak some Spanish!) My top priority is to foster a positive, creative, and open environment where kids feel heard, cared for, and ready to have fun! I’ve been working with kids my whole adult life and I’m always learning and growing with them. I can’t wait to bring some fun ideas to your kids and learn all about their favorite things!
