Blessings! I’m Rosana (: I love devoting my time to my family and enjoying the outdoors. I’ve been caring for children for 7+ years including children with special needs. I also have experience as a homeschool tutor and a homeschool enrichment physical education instructor. I worked at a daycare that cared for infants as young as 2 months to children up to the age of 8. I enjoy lots of outdoor activities such as taking kids to the park as well as doing arts and crafts. My most recent job was as a full time nanny to one year old twins and their 7 and 8 year old siblings. That job involved cleaning, light chores and cooking nutritious meals. I’ve also nannied for multiple overnight stays including school pickups and drop offs. I have taken some nursing and nutrition courses and am First Aid and CPR certified. I adore all animals so any family pet is no issue for me. Children are very pure and have taught me so much patience and have shown me that life is constantly a learning experience. Hey!! I have always loved taking care of babies and children, especially my niece and nephew. I would say my most important experience is I nannied the same kid from birth to 3 years old and occasionally would babysit him and his little sister when he was 4 and his little sister being 1. Hello! A little about myself I am a new mother myself of a 3 month old sweet and mellow babygirl that I am hopeful in bringing along with me. If you know you know children can love babies! I can work without bringing her along as well if preferred. I have lived/grown up in Southern Oregon my entire life. I graduated from Eagle Point High School in 2018. Through both my long time personal and professional work experiences I feel I have been able to greatly grow my communication skills, listening skills, and creativity, which I know are all important to have when working with children always. I have always found that I do greatly enjoy working and interacting with kids. I have worked in child care/babysitting since the age of 13 myself (10+ years), as well as 1 year with the Rogue Valley YMCA Child Care program where I was an Instructional Counselor and Lead Supervisor of the After School Program with groups of about 20-30 children max all ranging K-5th grade. My most previous work experience was within the Ashland School District as an Educational Assistant based in a Charter School of K-8th grade. Educating children both academically and focusing in their social and emotional development (ranging from ages 5-14). Just to be an experience in a child’s life even for a short time, is an incredible responsibility to have. Every being is different as well, every child and mind is different, so depending on what situation, conflict, or just interaction you are in, may always have a variety of approaches with each child.
