My name is Holly. I am 27 and currently working as a Certified Child Life Specialist at a local children’s hospital. I have my Master of Science in Child Life from the College of Charleston. While pursuing my masters degree, I completed a 120 hour practicum at a pediatric hospital in Charleston, SC as well as just completed a 605 hour internship at a pediatric hospital in Baltimore, MD. As part of my program, I gained vast knowledge and comprehension in child development and structuring developmentally appropriate play activities. While in Charleston, I also worked as a nanny for a vacation nanny agency, nannying children between the ages of 3 months to 12 years in addition to holding many consistent babysitting gigs with local families. Prior to pursuing a masters degree, I worked as a behavioral health technician for a local outpatient behavioral health center and an inpatient child and adolescent mental health unit providing ABA therapy and leading group therapy sessions with my BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. I love being a babysitter/nanny, because for someone reason kids and babies gravitate towards me and I’m not sure why. lol so it makes my job easier. I have paid and unpaid experience with new born babies up to 11 years old. The unpaid experience was with my siblings when they were younger and also my niece and nephews that are still elementary school aged. I am currently a summer life guard at sandcastle water park with cpr and first aid training that we have to do every month to stay certified.

I was asked if I had any paid experience I am new to the professional field of babysitting, but I have baby sat a lot of my cousins and neighbors kids while I was a teenager I also babysit my friends kids from time to time now for free so my real experience level is about 9 years.
