Hi! I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education in 2023. I have over a year of experience working as a preschool teacher at a childcare center and assisting with children 0-3 years old. Recently, I have been working with an individual with special needs in a public school setting, assisting them throughout the day with toileting, changing, and eating needs. After graduation I spent 4 years part time in the RN program, later completed a 8 month course in Medical Office Assistant. In 2013 I returned back to Aiken where I now live. I went to Aiken Tech and got certified as a Pharmacy Tech. In 2019 I joined Local 150 and have been laid off since Oct 2019. I also have worked with the elderly. I love the outdoors. I have previously worked as a life guard. I have a good driving record, background check, and references. I have been helping families for 6 years thru this site among others. Being around children is truly my passion—I love supporting their growth, creativity, and confidence both in and out of the classroom. With several years of teaching experience, I bring patience, structure, and fun to every interaction. My degree was in mathematics and physics education, but I am also CPR and First Aid certified, and comfortable working with children of all ages. Prior to my middle and high school teaching career I worked at a day camp for five summers working with Kindergarten through 8th grade.
