Hi! My name is Kathleen and I am a kindergarten music teacher in the Norristown Area School District (as a PA certified teacher all clearances available upon request). I grew up in a large family of six kids and have always enjoyed working with children. During high school, I began camp counseling during the summers and professionally working with children. In college, I started babysitting for families with toddlers and elementary-aged children. When I graduated, I began teaching music, working with children grades 1-8. Now I currently work with kindergarten children aged 5-6. Outside of teaching music, I am a very active individual. I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, performing on voice and piano, exploring museums and new places, playing guitar, and sports. I recently received my black belt and have been training in martial arts for five years. I also enjoy playing volleyball and frisbee in recreational leagues with friends.
