I am a former assistant teacher at a headstart program and I am certified in first aid and cpr. I lived in Florida from 2015-2020 I am originally from PA and we returned back here in 2020; I graduated with three degrees all in a science related field back in 2015. I started babysitting mostly my sister starting when I was about twelve and she was five. Once I started college I worked in a childcare center for about a year, I worked with children aged 6 months to 12 years of age. I love working with children because they are always on the go and exploring the world around them, it is a joy watching them learn and grow. Once my husband and I moved to Florida I started to nanny for a family of 5 they had twin girls age 2 and a son age 8, whom I still babysit for on occasion, especially when they go out of town. Hi, I’m Alicia! I’m 20 years old and currently in my third year of earning my degree in English Secondary Education, with the goal of becoming a middle school teacher. I really enjoy working with kids and creating a safe, fun, and caring environment for them. My experience comes from babysitting my 7-year-old neighbor, where I helped with playtime, snacks, and keeping her on a routine. I’m responsible, reliable, and patient, and I’m happy to help with light tasks around the house as well. I’m mainly looking to babysit for occasional evening events, such as date nights, where you can feel at ease knowing your kids are in good hands.
