I love being a sitter, because I absolutely love children and enjoy being around them. Being around the children brightens my day. Hi! I'm Hazel, and I just graduated from Bryn Mawr College. While I’m trying to find a job to start my career in public policy and advocacy, I’m happy to babysit/nanny as much or as little as you need me! I have 7 years of experience in childcare. I started working with kids when I was still a kid myself. Growing up I did gymnastics, so around 11 years old, I started as a junior coach for toddlers aged 2-6. I continued this job until I was 14 years old. I loved being able to teach kids something I had a passion for and letting them explore jumping and tumbling. I also had experience working at a daycare for a social service business. Here, I worked with kids aged at just a few weeks all the way to 10 years old. I independently watched after the children while their parents received services from the business. Most recently, I’ve consistently babysat for 4 different families in the Bryn Mawr/Ardmore area with 2-4 kids at a time ages ranging from 5 months to 11 years. A little about myself, I majored in Environmental Studies and Political Science at Bryn Mawr, and I also play field hockey for the college. I love being outside, playing sports, arts, and reading!

I know child care can be stressful and worrisome for parents, not knowing who to trust around your kids and whom to let your children learn from, but I am here to ease your worry and talk to you through every step of the way!! I have babysat children of family friends for a few years, AND I have worked in a daycare and have taught children (my class was the 2-3 year olds, and I have cared for preschool aged kids as well!). I can help infants and toddlers reach great developmental milestones, as well as play or help school aged children with homework or whatever they’d need! I am fun and adventurous, and I cannot wait to be your kids next best friend!!😁 I also have experience with animals, so if you need pet care or if you have some animals during childcare I can help out!
