I've been in childcare since I was twelve years old, eighteen entire years! I used to babysit for my mom and dad, as the oldest sibling in my family of seven children. Friends from our community knew I was good with the little kids and asked for me to come and watch theirs, and it all snowballed from there. I've worked in church daycares, at summer camps, for six families as a private child caretaker, in schools as a teacher's assistant and more. I am comfortable working with autism spectrum kids, too, since my a lot of my family are on the spectrum. That's actually how I met my first nanny kiddo; he was on the spectrum and we became friends at the shop I worked at when his mom and he would come in to eat. His mom came in one day and said he loved me and their nanny had to go, so could she pay me a dollar more than what I was getting paid now and full time? It was all very kismet. I worked for them full time for about a year after until I moved. I am super creative but also super responsible. I like the balance of art and productivity. I love making lists and checking them off: it gives me a sense of purpose and calm and tangible proof that I'm making moves in the right direction. I am alllll about finding creative ways to be kind and handle any kind of upset with empathy and compassion and compromise. Not even lots of crying stresses me out; I just view it as another avenue of processing in a big world that kids have, among many others, of getting their feelings out when they feel they can't properly express it with their language. I like to find things to do to change the mood when things like that come up, like a game or a trip, instead of letting them get too stuck in the upset. Or sometimes we sing the Breathing Song from Esme and Roy! My biggest strength as a nanny is my commuication skills with parents. I want to work alongside you as another team member and an advocate for your family! I'm there to make your guys' lives all a little easier. If there's anything to do that would make that happen, I more than want to hear about it and it means so much to me when it's expressed. I show my love and care for people through acts of service, so that's always been a great source of pride for me. I am CPR/First Aid certified, have my own car and am currently working for two families. I started working with their children since they were 6 months and 8 months and they're now both almost 2 and 3.

Hi there! Looking for help? Look no further! I have a long history as a dance teacher, mentor and sitter. I come with excellent references. My degree is in LIT, minor PSY. I also specialize in mentoring youth with special needs and youth with autism. If your child/teen has faced discrimination in child care due to being unjabbed or mask free, I'm your gal! I love art, books, improv, walking dogs, and playing the ukulele. I connect well with even the most teenagery of teens. I'm also known to make an incredible cup of tea for parents when they need that extra bit of comfort. My DMs are open to schedule a call or facetime!

Hi my name is Yasmine! Throughout the years, I gained valuable experience caring for I've babysat and tutored for children of various ages and backgrounds through connects from the community. I have been on Care but I’ve recently made a page on SitterCity to see if I can catch on some hidden gems to care for! My first experience with children began with caring baby cousins from newborn infancy to their current age of 11. Through my auntie's guidance, I learned essential skills such as changing, feeding, and burping. As they grew older, I actively engaged them in age-appropriate activities, often incorporating our shared love for playing games. Being an artsy and creative individual, I have no trouble coming up with last-minute activities to keep children entertained. Currently, I am eager to find some part-time hours. With a reliable and caring nature, I am confident in my ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for your family. I’m CPR/First Aid certified, have reliable transportation, and can provide references upon request. I’m confident managing multiple children, supporting routines, and creating engaging days full of creativity, structure, and care. Fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, I’m happy to work with diverse families and cultural preferences. Please contact me to speak further! I am willing to travel. ***Also, please forgive me if you don’t receive a response from me right away- I do not use this app much and often give a more reliable communication method in my initial message back!!

Hello! My name is Faith Rex. I currently attend Lancaster Bible College as an Early Childhood Education major. In my free time I enjoy playing volleyball, cooking/baking, and art! As far as experience goes I have watched kids most of my life. I have a big family and grew up watching my younger siblings. My junior year of high school I nannied a family every Saturday for the day while both parents worked. I also have worked at an overnight Christian kids camp called Camp Calvary. Plus the summer after my senior year I worked in a daycare with the elementary school age children. Most recently I worked at a school camp for children ages 5-12. I truly love kids and being a part of their lives. I am adventurous, patient, active, kind, and flexible with scheduling. I am both CPR and First Aid certified with all of my clearances. Thank you for your time!

I have extensive experience with taking care of children from toddlers to children 11 years old. I have been nannying and babysitting for as long as I can remember and love helping and getting to know families. I am also a former preschool music teacher, and have plenty of experience caring for multiple children at a time. I absolutely adore kids, and taking care of them as a full time job is a dream to me. I am able to help with housekeeping, meal prep, and homework. I am CPR certified, have a college degree, do not smoke, am comfortable with pets, and have my own transportation. I'd be happy to care for your children and provide fun activities that will help them learn while keeping them entertained. I would also be happy to provide proof of vaccination.

I have years of experience working with children in a variety of settings... I initially was given the opportunity to be a facilitator and cofounder of an after school program post high school. During this time, I was also involved with Youth Advocacy Program, and gained experience working with preteens and teenagers. I have also nannied and babysat for several families, ages ranging from 3 months-10 years. I have found that children are the greatest teachers. Every child I've interacted with in my life has seemed to open my eyes a bit further to something, big or small. This is the main reason I love working with kids; I love to learn, about the world, others, and myself. I have a true passion for life and all things creative. I love art, music, reading, writing... I also love nature and spending time just existing outdoors. I am an animal lover, and a mother to many fish, shrimp, a ball python and a dog.
