Hey! I'm Brianna. I have a Bachelor's in Molecular Biology, and a Master's in Public Health. I've been babysitting throughout college, and I'm also the oldest of four. I have two siblings that are on the spectrum, one of which also has ODD; between this, and my experience in tutoring centers, I've had significant experience with children who have special needs. I spent my summers working as a camp counselor at Camp Pecometh, where I was responsible for 5-10 children at a time, ages 5-16. On the weekends, I volunteered at my church's nursery, taking care of newborns to 3-year olds. My specialties are craft time, early Spanish education, and kid-friendly snack prep. I have background checks available, as well as additional references. I am fully vaccinated. My background is in musical theatre. Today, I work remotely in accessibility services for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. While in college, I worked at a daycare center. I also spent six months as an au pair in Dublin, Ireland. Since moving to NYC in 2010 I have been babysitting steadily for children from 6 months old to 11 years old. I love playing with kids, reading them stories, singing songs, doing arts and crafts, and helping them learn. They never cease to amaze me. Having fun is important, but I am also a firm believer in safety and cleanliness. Communication and flexibility are imperative when taking care of children. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and running. To date, I have run five full marathons, including being part of the American Cancer Society's team for the NYC Marathon. Past shows I was in include Freckleface Strawberry as the Ballet Girl and a national tour of Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse; both are children's shows based on books. You may also have seen me as Zuzu the Elf at Macy's Santaland or in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as a Despicable Me minion.
