I am a mother to a wonderful almost 6 year old. I have always been the one to help out in the nursery at church and help with friends and family that needed help. Most of my experience has been caring for close family and friends so much of my experience has not been paid. I love providing enrichment activities and watching how children learn and the light bulb goes off. I have a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences, which was an emphasis of Occupational Therapy as that was my goal to complete the combined Masters of OT with that. So I take that background and the classes in child development and care with me. I have been cpr and first aid certified several times over the last 12 years. I have a year of college under my belt, but unfortunately had to drop out due to expenses. I love being a sitter to both humans and animals because I know how stressful life can be. Especially as an ex-college student, seeing her mom work extra hard to provide for me, my sister, and our dog. I've been helping her out and family and friends for years with babysitting siblings and friends' kids. Being able to provide even a bit of stress relief is the reason I do what I do.
