My name is Siena & I’m currently a sophomore at Penn state beaver. My major is communications, sciences, & disorders. I’ve been babysitting since I was 12; I’ll be 20 in Oct. Throughout high school, I was interested in/took a variety of childhood psychology classes and that set me up to be able to participate in the preschool class program. For the last 2 years I worked at the South Fayette summer camp as a counselor for ages 5-12. I really enjoyed that experience and everything it had taught me. The kids are what make the experience fun. They are all sweet, funny, creative, and always leave me on my toes. All my certifications through that are still valid (cpr, criminal, child abuse, mandated reporter, fingerprints, first aid). As of now, I have experience with 5month - 12 years. I don’t typically watch more than 2 kids at a time & I have experience with toddler twins. My college schedule is a little hard to work around so I’m looking for a more consistent job but anything that works around it I’m glad! Tuesdays are fully booked & Thursdays I’m not free until around 3pm. Monday Wednesday & Friday I’m free most of the day.
