Hi! My name is Kathleen and I am a kindergarten music teacher in the Norristown Area School District (as a PA certified teacher all clearances available upon request). I grew up in a large family of six kids and have always enjoyed working with children. During high school, I began camp counseling during the summers and professionally working with children. In college, I started babysitting for families with toddlers and elementary-aged children. When I graduated, I began teaching music, working with children grades 1-8. Now I currently work with kindergarten children aged 5-6. Outside of teaching music, I am a very active individual. I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, performing on voice and piano, exploring museums and new places, playing guitar, and sports. I recently received my black belt and have been training in martial arts for five years. I also enjoy playing volleyball and frisbee in recreational leagues with friends. As a sitter, I've always enjoyed providing the best experiences for families and their children. I am not the kind of sitter who is going to be content doing the bare minimum. I really genuinely love helping families and engaging and creating quality activities for children. Especially during the warmer months, I love taking children for time outside like walks to the park or playing soccer or tag in the yard. I've enjoyed building new lego creations, baking cookies, and drawing and painting. I also have no problem cleaning and doing house work, I actually enjoy it. However, I will always ask if it's okay though. I also have no problem making snacks and food for children. I've always treated each child and family as if they were my own and always make sure to deliver service with the utmost respect and care.

I love Jen. She watches my two boys for over a year and we fell in love with her. I am still so sad that she relocated. If we could’ve followed her we would’ve. She truly changed our lives. Jen is an amazing person and the absolute best babysitter.

Hello! My name is Annie and I’m 21 years old. I currently live in Pearland Tx but I’m originally from Massachusetts. Working with kids has always been a passion for me, I grew up around a lot of little cousins and I always enjoyed taking care of them so now I’ve found myself making a career out of it! I have 8+ years of experience working with kids, 4 years of professional childcare. I was a full time nanny for 2 years, for three children aged 1, 4, and 6 years old. For two summers in a row, I was an aid at a special education summer school, as well as an aid during the school year. Most recently, I’ve been a registered behavior technician at Action Behavior Centers giving ABA therapy to children with autism. I primarily have the most experience with children aged 1-6 years old. I have my own vehicle and I am CPR certified as well. I can help with transportation, special needs care, potty routines, meals, activities, outdoor play, educational play, light housekeeping, travel, etc.! I’m looking for a babysitting job so I’d love to chat!

Hi! My name is Izabella, and I’m currently a Medical Assistant looking for part-time childcare opportunities. I genuinely love working with children and have several years of experience caring for kids of different ages. I previously worked at a daycare for two years. I started as a floater, which gave me experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, and I later became a toddler teacher. I also grew up helping my grandmother with her in-home daycare, so caring for children has been a big part of my life for many years. I would help with the children regularly since I was there every day. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified and have experience caring for younger siblings, as well as helping friends and family with their children. I’ve used Care.com in the past and worked with several families both through the app and independently outside of the app. As a Medical Assistant, I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and comfortable handling situations that require care and good judgment. I’m looking forward to meeting new families and providing a safe, fun, and caring environment for their children!

Hello! My name is Abbey, and I recently relocated to the Philadelphia area after earning my Architecture degree. Before college, I spent five years as a professional childcare provider, starting as the lead teacher in an infant classroom and later moving up with my class into the toddler room (12–18 months). So, I have the most experience caring for children from 8 weeks to 3 years old. Childcare has always been a true passion of mine. I love getting to know each child's unique personality, supporting their development, and building meaningful relationships with both children and their parents. I truly believe there is nothing more rewarding than watching little ones reach new milestones, grow in confidence, and develop into their own unique selves. Leaving my childcare job to attend college was one of the hardest decisions I had to make, and I still make a point to visit my old daycare babies whenever I'm back home! Now that I've finished school and am settling into Philly, I'm looking for a wonderful family to build that same lasting connection with through a full-time nanny position. Outside of nannying, I'm a small scale lighting designer/maker, and creativity is a big part of who I am. I love bringing that creativity into everyday life through hands-on activities, crafts, imaginative play, reading, and encouraging curiosity and a love of learning. My goal is to create a home environment where children feel safe to explore, create, and grow while becoming a dependable, long-term part of your family's support system. I am happy to help with general household tasks, meal preparation, and pet care, and I have reliable transportation. I am also Better Beginnings certified and trained in infant CPR and First Aid, and I am dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. I would love the opportunity to become a trusted part of your family and look forward to meeting you!

Abigail worked for our family for a couple of years. We loved her so much, and she was such a joy to work with. Anigail treated our kids with so much love and kindness. Our children still talk about Mrs. Abbey to this day. You will not find a better nanny for your children.

I’m a evening and overnight caregiver excited to work part time with your family! I love kids and getting involved in what kids are doing - cuddling sleepy newborns, playing house, and making pillow forts are just a few of those activities. I’m passionate about helping kids grow. I’m a University of Delaware graduate and former social worker. About my experience as a caregiver: -Newborn Care Specialist (formerly called a night nurse) -I’ve been a first caregiver outside of family members for many families -12 years of experience -I have experience with twins -I have experience with children with a variety of differing needs (speech delays, Autism, OCD, ADHD, nightmares, separation anxiety, keeping track of hearing aids) -I’m comfortable with furry pets and small amphibians but not with snakes, spiders, or birds -I am vaccinated against covid, flu, TDaP (covers whooping cough), along with all other typical vaccines My preferences with a family: -Consistent and open communication -Planning via text or messaging -I respect your screen time routines but I prefer low or no screen time The obvious: -I will arrive and stay sober to watch your child (this includes not consuming nicotine or vaping) -I won’t eat your food -I will be on time -I will respect your rules and routines -I will speak to your child with respect and kindness -Your child is my main focus We might not be a great match if… -You need someone available last minute -You practice physical discipline -You yell at service providers -You criminally endanger children, housemates, or visitors Feel free to run a background check! You’ll find a couple of traffic violations (e.g. parking tickets) and nothing else. I have excellent references that are available upon request. Thanks!

Leah babysat my kids, aged 12 and 7, for two weeks over the summer. She was with them every weekday for between 4 and 8 hours, and managed to keep them entertained and off their computer screens -- which is something of a miracle! She was very good at playing board games, drawing with them and taking them on short outings. Despite the fact that my 12-year-old son and my 7-year-old daughter have very different personalities, she managed to keep them both happy. She is a compassionate person who understands kids, and she is organized and competent.
