I retired from the state in 2014, with 25 years teaching and counseling experience in Charleston, Berkeley, and Lexington County. I have experience with infants up to high school and special needs children. I love being around children and watch how quickly they learn. I do believe that one has to be secure emotionally before anything else. When I nanny, I make sure to follow whatever rules and routines that are in place. I am able to run errands, drop off and pick up children, laundry, light house keeping, food prep, or any need the family may have. I have no issues with times changing at the last minute at all. I receive great fulfillment when working with any age child. I have lived in Lexington/West Columbia since 2012. I have a son Nicholas that just retired from MLB 2 years ago and a daughter Suzanne that is a social worker in Augusta. They both attended LHS. Working with any family that needs helps fulfills me.
