I've taught across multiple subject areas, including English as a Second Language and an intensive reading course. Kids have helped me become more enthusiastic, energetic and joyful. They have shown me the importance of creativity and silliness in the learning process. I am comfortable with crying, throw up, and dirty diapers. I'm definitely not afraid to play dress up, build Lego mansions, or pull out my "best" dance moves to make a kiddo smile! I'm a believer of "work hard -play hard" and "rules are for a reason."

Recently, I patted myself on the back for raising men as I watched my son Jake relocate to Florida with his sales company and my son Luke graduate from the US Marine Corps — Oorah! With that, the focus has shifted back to me for the first time since 2002! I’ve relocated as well — to Greenville! And I love it! Next month, I will officially retire from the corporate world.
