I've taught across multiple subject areas, including English as a Second Language and an intensive reading course. Kids have helped me become more enthusiastic, energetic and joyful. They have shown me the importance of creativity and silliness in the learning process. I am comfortable with crying, throw up, and dirty diapers. I moved to Lyman 3 years ago from Arizona to care for my grandchildren. My youngest one started first grade this year. In addition to caring for my two young grandchildren, I have cared for the children for families of my church in Tucson from infancy to preschool. I have as also been a Sunday School teacher for 2 and 3 year olds. I’m very organized, prompt snd dependable. Most people don’t realize that babies can communicate and learn. I always have loved working with kids starting when my older sister would leave me to watch my nieces and nephews as tween myself. I think kids are a gift from God and deserve attention, time, and structure.
