I am a third year college student who is studying in psychology and wgst. That being said I love doing super fun activities to keep children entertained and engaged. Some of the tings I like are arts and crafts, music, movies, cooking, and baking. It is really important to me that I provide families with an all around experience. I do enjoy watching kids and interacting with them. I have a lot of experience watching the smaller children in my family and outside of that I occasionally watch the older kids of my mother’s friends. I have watched up to four children at a time for multiple hours. Most of my experience is with children under 12. I believe in making a connection with both children and parents to build trust and make everyone in the sitting process comfortable. Even though this is not my main stream of employment year round I do still take this job seriously and I am still dedicated to it. I am currently free to start ASAP.

My name is Talayshia Bethea I go to Horry-Georgetown Technical College. I currently work at Nightgales Nursing as an Home Health Aide. I’m a college student looking for a job. Being a caregiver has always been something that I enjoy doing and always has come very naturally to me. Since I was a little girl I remember always wanting to hold the baby if there was one around, always the 1st to run over and help a elderly person carry something, always tried to nurse anyone sick or injured back to health. I suppose that you can say it's just what I'm good at, what I enjoy doing. About me, I'm a single mother of one beautiful daughter and I am working on my degree in human and social services via an online University. I already have certification as a CNA, Teaching Assistant, first aid, and CPR. I spent many years working with children of all ages with mental and physical disabilities of all kinds in residential settings and as teaching assistant along side a special education teacher. I absolutely loved working in that type of environment because it was so rewarding to me. I have a really big family, so taking care of children and babies is also just a very natural way of life for me. I also have gained experience taking care of adults and the elderly when I got into nursing school, I realized that I loved that as well! Whatever your needs may be for your loved one, I am a very loving, caring, honest and dependable caregiver. I treat anyone I take care of like they are my family! How I would want to be treated with respect and love. I don't do this type of work for a paycheck, I do it because I love to take care of people, from infant to the elderly... It's just my calling.
