Hey there! I’m currently employed at Southside Elementary School as an Afterschool Caretaker for children ages 4 all the way to 11. Hello, I am Kimberly. I am a preschool teacher, wife, mom, and nana. I have worked in early learning my entire adult life, including owning a state-licensed childcare in my home for many years. I moved from Southern Indiana to Telford, Tennessee, in March 2023 and absolutely love it here. I love dogs, but I am highly allergic to cats. I have a reliable car and a safe driving record. I am certified in CPR/First Aid by the state of Tennessee. I have also completed several hours of professional training in early childhood education and childcare. I am a preschool teacher in Johnson City, TN, but I am off for the summer for the month of June and through July 19, 2024. I go back to work on July 22, 2024. I am looking to do summer babysitting. I have several years of experience with children from newborn through teens, including children with special needs (Down Syndrome, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum).

I have worked as a CNA for a year and a half now at NHC Rehab Center. I work with geriatric patients and, although it is a little different, I have experience in feeding, bathing, and diapering them. While I haven’t had paid experience in the childcare setting, I have been volunteering in my church nursery since I was twelve and also have younger cousins, siblings, and neighbors that I have cared for growing up. Hi, my name is Sadie! I am an energetic babysitter, with a passion for child development. I am currently working for a family but they are moving in a month. I have worked with kids all my life, my family has helped with children’s events in our community since I can remember. At the age of 12 I started babysitting for family and family friends, at the age of 16 I started picking up for a family from a school, taking them to after school events, homework, and bed time. I also started working with my church’s children program. I work with our special education students there, providing them what they need and helping them participate and communication with the rest of the class. At the age of 17 my high school offered a program working in elementary schools as a teachers aid. When I graduated I started doing morning routines, getting kids ready for school, and to school.

From the time my little sister was an infant up until she was 5 years old I spent everyday with her through all the ups and down. Last year I was a swim instructor teaching children ages 3-11, up until January 2023 when I moved to Johnson City. I have grown to be very patient and adore kids. I am currently certified in CPR, AED, First Aid, and Basic Swim Instruction. Aside from my little sister, I have baby sat with children ages 4 and 6, and 1. I am currently in school majoring in Early Childhood Education, although I am considering taking a year off for financial reasons.
