I knew from a young age I was meant to work with children and I have since I was 17 years old. I have taken more CPR and First Aid courses then I can remember over the years. I am currently employed by a family in Tullahoma so my hours must be taken into consideration unfortunately. I work M T W Th F from 8:00-3:30. I am available in the evening and weekends anytime. I realize that will limit my possibilities, but I have been with the family for over five years and currently I am homeschooling the two children. Hey y’all, my name is Emma Nichols. Technically I have about 19 years worth of babysitting- I lucked out and was my parents first of 3 girls, but I have 4 years and counting of professional childcare. Over the years I have many responsibilities including: meal prep, proper hygiene, quality and appropriate entertainment, special needs care, infant care, sick care, potty training, house work, homework help, pet care, and safe transportation to/ from school, running errands, and extracurriculars. I have worked at a daycare and have multiple certifications and experience from my time there. At the daycare, I experienced working with a dozen to two dozen children in one setting. This helped build my awareness of surroundings and attention to detail. Though I am younger, I do not think there are many obstacles I haven’t accomplished. I have 3 years experience as a home health aide with with two different children. They're both autistic. And both are in their teens. We would watch their favorite TV shows, take walks outside, color, fix breakfast or lunch, play with their toys, play simple games, get their shower/bath, and maybe sometimes try to take a nap although usually unsuccessful, 😂. I am CNA certified in TN and as of now I have my CPR certification (can't remember when it expires). . I really enjoy the work I do and I will do my best to make everyday for your children a good day.
