I am a mother of 3. I am energetic, creative, compassionate and patient. I homeschooled my children as we traveled around the states and world with my husband and his job. My youngest is 15 and currently doing an online high school program. This has led me to have more free time. I recently worked in daycare. I worked in the infant room for months and then became the lead teacher for 2 year olds. I love teaching children and seeing them light us as they discover something new. The biggest key with children though is making them feel loved and secure. I have had the opportunity to be a part of many children’s lives over the years. All with different personalities and backgrounds. Because of making them feel loved, secure, and special I have had the joy of a special bond with each and every one. I have done childcare for over 35years. I have been married to my husband for 25yrs. We are parents of two girls and just finalized the adoption of our girls in February 2022! I have volunteered in the church nursery,been a preschool teacher, a part time nanny,and a babysitter to many families. My experience with children is a variety of ages. I have watched a newborn (2days after being home) all the way up to teenagers. I have taken care of multiple children at one time; this includes in-home care,daycare settings, in hotel rooms and also my own home as well! I have taken care of children with and without disabilities. I love being around children,love reading to them and singing to them. I like watching children use their imaginations. I love going for walks and  taking mini trips/vacations with my husband and kids and enjoying beautiful senenery. I love playing outdoors as well as indoors with kids. I try to do crafts or other developmentally appropriate activities with the children I watch. I strive to provide a loving,safe, fun & caring environment. I have CPR and First Aid certified and an willing to take any additional training the parents would like to see in their babysitter/caregiver. My goal is to provide parents complete peace that their kids are in great hands while they must be away from their children.  I would be happy to answer any other questions someone has.
