Due to past experiences, from grocery shopping for the family to playing personal uber driver for the children from school to home to sports practices/games, I quickly realized while I needed to be as flexible as the job. I learned to be an advocate for the children in times where an adult needed to represent them, a nurse when one was hurt, and even a friend when one was having a bad day. As normalized as it is to be "just the nanny", being a good caregiver means just as much to me as the individual hiring me.

A little bit about me… I am 48 years old. I have two daughters 23 and 27 as well as two grand sond 2 yr old and 5 yrs old. I was in the apartment industry for several years but I knew that was not my calling. So I left the apartment industry and made the decision of doing what I know I was called to do and that is taking care of children. I have lot of nieces and nephews and they will tell you that Tete Peggy are their favorite lol. No matter where I am at, being in the grocery store, shopping mall, Dr office, or on an airplane kids are drawn to me. There was four different families that I worked for. I took care of a 2 mos old beautiful little girl until she turned 2 years old. I had a wonderful family that had a 8 and 13 year old boys that I picked up from school helped with homework and drove to basketball ball practice and tutoring. The third family I took care of was a single father of three beautiful children 3, 5, 8. Last but certainly not lease, I took care of my Pastor at the time, 6 months old son.
