I am a mom of a now accomplished and successful young adult who is pursuing a pre-med curriculum at Austin College. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with hundreds of children through my own recreational studio, as well as with local libraries, schools and daycare centers. I’ve designed and implemented early childhood education programs focused on helping children reach important developmental milestones in a fun, supportive way. A little about me: my family and I are longtime Sherman residents and have been active members of Grayson Bible Baptist Church for the past 11 years. I’ve been happily married to my wonderful husband for 35 years, and together we’ve built a life rooted in family, faith, and community (he works in IT and keeps us all technologically sane). I recently retired from owning my own business and now enjoy teaching water aerobics and fitness classes at a local pool, as well as working part-time as an event coordinator for a 55+ community. These roles allow me to stay active, organized, and deeply connected across generations. I love nature, learning new things, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people of all ages.
