Hi everyone, my names Joanna! I'm currently a college student and work as a paraprofessional at an Elementary school. Working with children as been a gift and a blessing in my life. Before becoming a paraprofessional I use to be substitute teacher two years prior so I have had the opportunity of watching over a variety of ages but had spent the most time in Head start to 5th grade. During the school year my kiddos consists of 10 to 11 year old's and I've loved being involved in their lives as well as watching them grow! I serve at my local Church in the Children's Ministry from infants to Pre-school on Sundays as well. I love being a sitter because it allows me to see and experience all of the uniqueness that comes with children! How parents nurture that uniqueness, and getting to witness if I'm around for a longer period of time, the growth in personality that each individual child or individual goes through. The majority of my experience is babysitting for my siblings, and in adults and children with Special Needs. That started when I was 19 in 2013 with a family who has an adult daughter with Autism, that I still help occasionally!
