I'm Perla! I'm 22, and I have been working with kids for 5 years! I worked at a mobile petting zoo, was a Dental Assistant for 2 years, and currently am working at a Settlement Home for Children! I've always enjoyed being around kids and I'm greatful I was able to move onto something that seems for me! I'm a mom to a 1 month old little boy! I'm currently on maternity leave and still juggling around if I will return to work, or take on babysitting/nannying for those who will allow me to bring my little boy when and if needed, as it's only us 2 and leaving him with family could be challenging at times. I really enjoy working with kids. I have been baby-sitting my cousins, nieces, and nephews ever since I can remember, I worked at the Boys and Girls Club for two and a half years, and one summer I worked as a college tutor for 3rd graders. I also volunteered at Lockhart Park to help 5th grade students with science learning labs. I have been nannying and babysitting for a number of families and have experience with all ages. Some duties that I had were picking up kids from school homework if provided after school activities (sports after school programs clubs and etc) make meals at times. I was asked to stay over night making sure that the kids were fed, bathe and tucked in bed light housekeeping but normally cleaning comes naturally. I just have a habit of keeping everything in place.
