I’m happy to drive children or run errands, but I prefer to use a family car to do so. When it comes to my rates. I threw my hourly rate at $22. To be honest, I have a sliding scale where I have either donated my services or been paid substantially an hour depending on the family and event. Typically, if it is a shorter block of time or I’m providing materials and supplies, my hourly rate is higher. If it’s a longer day or parents go away or I travel with family, it’s may be a negotiated flat rate. PLAYbysitting rates as follows~ $30 ph @ 1 to 3 hrs. $25 ph @ 4 to 7 hrs. $20 ph @ 8 + hrs. ($40 ph for combined families)
