Hello, My name is Diana! I am 22 years old and I am a fluent Spanish speaker as well. Kids of any age have always been my passion. I have such a high passion for kids which brings me motivation on finishing off college to be an elementary/middle school Science teacher! I need one more year to get my teaching certification. YAY!! My experience with kids began when I was 15 years old. I always took care of family relatives, babies and toddlers on the weekends which built my passion for kids ever since. I also worked at an after-school program/care in Plano Tx called PASAR. PASAR is Plano ISD's after-school care program for students in grades Pre-K through grade 5. My duties and responsibilities were to give children snacks on snack time, take the students out to the school playground, provide fun activities such as crafting, coloring, board games, play basketball or volleyball etc. I would also even help students with any questions they had with homework. I would have assigned a group of 50 kids to watch over for and it was my full responsibility till parents came to pick them up. I am currently a substitute in Wylie ISD in Wylie Tx. I have been substituting for 3 years to gain experience for my future teaching career. I have been subbing for all ages including high school. I am well known with every school campus by school administration. I carry good relationships with administrators and staff and trust me with students! They know that kids are my passion and that I try my very best to make learning fun! I am a person that can get along with anyone! I am very social and always happy around kids.

I have nannied for several families and worked in multiple daycares. I have a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in reading and gifted and talented. I am vaccinated for Covid, the flu, whooping cough, and RSV. I am CPR certified. I have First Aid training as well. When working in childcare, I prioritize children’s developmental growth and educational success. One of my main goals is to foster a safe environment while helping children reach developmental milestones. I love sparking curiosity and creativity in kids by exploring nature,music, and academia.
