Hello! I'm a 27 year-old college graduate living in Plano. My mom was 1 of 20 children, so I have tons of little cousins, about 40 under the age of 13 so I've been around children all my life. I have 12 years of paid babysitting experience. I've after-school nannied for two families, with 5 and 8-year-old girls. In my free time I like to pick up occasional babysitting gigs. I have a ton of experience with all ages of children, including: infants, toddlers, twins, multiples and special needs. I've watched up to 6 kids at a time. My name is Rahel Deleso, and I want to tell you why you’ll be glad I’m taking care of your children. I have eight years paid experience, including families with children ranging from newborn to nine years old. I have great child skills combined with ability to expose children to new cultural experiences. My most recent position is with a mom of two boys – a newborn and just under three years old. She is a professional analyst working from home, so I have to be conscious of her need for undisturbed work time throughout the day. From 8 am to 4 pm, the children spend their time playing games, enjoying age-appropriate activities, and having homemade lunches. My client often expresses her appreciation for my adaptability, enthusiasm, and ability to handle any situation. My prior clients were a professional family with two children which grew to three while we were together. In addition to the activities above, I was responsible for picking up the older boy from pre-school, and when the third child was born, helping with infant care, and taking care of the two older boys when one of the parents wasn’t home. I normally worked afternoons/early evenings Monday thru Friday, and occasionally took on a Friday or Saturday evening when the couple wanted a “date night”. This family would happily tell you that they considered me a part of their family, and the children still ask after “Miss Rahel” even though it has been several years since they moved from Dallas. In addition to those positions, I returned to Ethiopia in 2021 and 2022 to help my sister care for her two newborn children, a girl, and a boy. Love for my niece and nephew was so great that I put work here in the USA aside to ensure that they both got off to a good start with structure and loving care in their lives. In my culture, children are central to happy family life, and we practice love and positive reinforcement discipline when caring for them. Hello, My name is Diana! I am 22 years old and I am a fluent Spanish speaker as well. Kids of any age have always been my passion. I have such a high passion for kids which brings me motivation on finishing off college to be an elementary/middle school Science teacher! I need one more year to get my teaching certification. YAY!! My experience with kids began when I was 15 years old. I always took care of family relatives, babies and toddlers on the weekends which built my passion for kids ever since. I also worked at an after-school program/care in Plano Tx called PASAR. PASAR is Plano ISD's after-school care program for students in grades Pre-K through grade 5. My duties and responsibilities were to give children snacks on snack time, take the students out to the school playground, provide fun activities such as crafting, coloring, board games, play basketball or volleyball etc. I would also even help students with any questions they had with homework.
