Hi there! My name is Sophia, and I have an extensive background working with children of all ages in various settings. I am currently a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). I partner with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and CPS to advocate for the best interests of children in the foster care system. My current case includes 4 siblings ages 10-17. On weekends, I work at local churches providing Sunday daycare to infants, toddlers, pre-K, and elementary school children. Previously, I worked in a special needs classroom with children ages K-3 grade for two years before I became a part-time nanny for little 2 girls for three years. My name is Rachel Hillyer, I am 22 years old. I was born and raised in Houston,Tx . I spent the past year living in San Marcos and have loved and enjoyed it but there’s nothing like home! I will be moving back late December and can start working January 1st! I’ve been nannying for about 5 years now and am looking for a full time nanny job at most 5 days a week. I am also open to occasional weekend gigs. I’ve babysat for families in the church growing up and I also come from a huge family with 40+ cousins, so as you can imagine I have experience there too. Several years ago I discovered my passion for participating in the blossoming of sweet, young lives. Over the years I’ve gathered experience working personally with families for long or short term periods all over DFW, a majority of my time at a Montessori’s and daycares in S. TX, as well as fun parents nights out! This has allowed me to work with a huge variety of children ranging anywhere from 3 mo.-12 years. That includes unwell/ill children, multiple areas of children on the spectrum, outdoor & food allergies, sensory disorders, and many other special care needs.
