I started by caring for my niece and nephew while their mom was sick, and since then I’ve babysat for families throughout high school and spent three years serving in my church’s nursery caring for children under 3 years old. Hello! I am currently a Special Education teacher in Humble ISD. I have a bachelors in Special Education, Masters in Special Education with Autism, and a certificate in Special Education Transition Services. Currently, my students are 18-22 years of age. I have worked with low cognitive with behaviors, life skills, and applied skills. I have been with the school district for 11 years. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked at a daycare for 8 years. I mastered the skill of potty training. I currently have 2 grandbabies that I adore. At home I have 12 dogs, a barnyard cat, a mini donkey, and numerous chickens. So if you have animals I am good with that.

I love children and I take care of them as if they were my own. I grew up around a lot of children, and I have always been the go to family member babysitter. My mom has always worked in child care center, so I grew up in daycares as well. Watching her do what she loves and being so great with kids has always put me in awe.
