I'm currently a student at the University of Houston-Downtown planning to graduate in 2023 with a major in psychology. I currently attend college in person from 8-1 pm Monday - Thursday so an ideal job would be picking up the kiddos from school helping them with homework/ activities and giving them dinner while preparing them for bed. I consider myself a very creative and athletic person. In my free time I enjoy traveling a lot I go on mission trips with my church ministry for weekends up to 2 weeks but most likely it is just for a weekend. I am currently in search for a nanny summer job that carries out into the fall. I am willing to travel with the family for the summer with the flexibility of a week or two to attend a mission trip during the summer. I have relevant experience working with children age 3 and up. At my current job I supervise kids from pk3 through 8th grade.

A Little About Me Hi! My name is Laura, and I’m a recent graduate of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences in May 2026. I’m currently preparing for the MCAT as I work toward my goal of attending medical school and becoming a physician. Before graduating, I had the opportunity to work as an Assistant Teacher at the UTRGV Child Development Center, where I primarily cared for infants ages 3–12 months and toddlers ages 19–27 months, while also working with children up to 3 years old. This experience taught me how important patience, attentiveness, consistency, and genuine affection are when caring for little ones. I especially enjoy the infant and toddler stages because every day brings something new to learn, explore, and celebrate. As someone pursuing a career in medicine, caring for others is something I genuinely value. I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident leaving their children with someone else. I strive to create a warm, safe, and reassuring environment where children can feel comfortable being themselves while their parents are away. While I prepare for the next step in my education, I’m looking for babysitting opportunities to help support my MCAT and future medical-school expenses, contribute toward my everyday bills, and have a little spending money of my own. More importantly, I would love to continue doing something I truly enjoy—spending time with and caring for children. I’m dependable, patient, caring, and attentive to the little details that matter. I have 2 younger kids 1 8 month old and a 3 year old. I also have experience in pre-teens since i have 2 younger siblings and currently care for my boyfriend little sister. I am 20 years old and love children with everything in me, i have a passion and goal to help everyone in need because i know how it feels.

I have baby sit my 6 year old nephew since he was 3 and my niece since she was born 1 year ago. We would play, go for walks, play learning games, change diaper, eating and sleeping schedule. I love to have fun with the kids. I also love animals of any sorts.
