I love being a sitter because I absolutely adore children and love seeing the way their minds work and getting to play and take care of them is just so fun to me. Being around children is like seeing the world through a fresh pair of eyes, and that is one of the things I love most! From being a mom myself, to watching countless other littles, teaching in the sunday school classroom, working with foster children, after school programs, and more there is something so deeply fulfilling about nurturing a child and watching them grow! There is a sweet innocence and wonder that comes from each new stage. As a parent, leaving my child with anyone was the hardest thing. Being a person you can trust to love and care for your child while you are away is something that I take very seriously. I have most of my experience in, and prefer, newborn to toddler stages. Hey my name is Emily Prats, I am 19 years old and this fall I became a paraprofessional at a preschool! I absolutely love all of the kids there and love being around them. I can't wait to work with more kids as I grow with the school district. at the moment I work in the special education classroom but planning on getting my CDA next year and teaching in a typical classroom. I have an older sister that has severe MS as well so I have a lot of experience in special needs education. I also have a 6 year old nephew that I have babysit/nanny some days.
