I have taken care of children for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, I worked in a daycare center for 2 and 3 year old children for two years after school. During those two years I would leave after my lunch break from high school and go work as an aide for a kindergarten class my Junior year. Then as an aide in a second grade classroom my Senior year. I also watched children from my church as well as babysat for family and friends children. I went to college and got my associates degree. I planned on being an elementary school teacher then, but I got married and had a child. I decided to watch children in my home and then in a different daycare with the 3 year olds first and then in the baby room until my son started Kindergarten. I substituted for two years in his elementary school until we moved. During this entire time I would continue to babysit family and friends children. I changed careers for a while due to financial reasons. About ten years after that I really wanted to go back to working with children. I started part time for an after school program until I was promoted to front office secretary of the elementary school. I worked there for several years. I helped in the lunchroom and when teachers would need my help. I then left to teach 3-4 year olds in my church day school. I love children of all ages, and honestly they love me too. I moved to Utah from Texas about one year ago. Now I am wanting to babysit date nights and other times when I am needed. I really feel that when you have to be away from your children, that a mom is the best substitute for you.

I love working with children. I use to work in a daycare after graduating high school. During high school I helped out in the schools daycare. I mainly work with infants and toddlers but have experience ages babies-12.

I worked in daycare for three years with infants and toddlers. With infants I was the lead teacher over 4, and 8 with a co-teacher. So I'm familiar with the needs of infants.
