I have a Bachelors from UVU in Deaf Studies. After I graduated, I worked for two years as an interpreter for the Utah school for the Deaf and Blind (USDB) working with k-12 kids. I also tutored several elementary aged Deaf kids twice a week after school during the 2020 school year. When covid hit, USDB provided childcare for children of healthcare workers, and I got the opportunity to work with two nonverbal autistic teens. More recently, I have become a mom. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and have experience working with infants and toddlers. I was with the last family I worked with for 4 years. They had two children, one (6) and Deaf and the other (4) and autistic. I was able to competently juggle their two kids and mine. I value safety and carry a LifeVac (an FDA-registered medical device for choking emergencies) with me at all times. I have learned various techniques from participating in occupational, physical, and speech therapies and, while I can’t replace therapies, I can work with children who have special needs to meet their goals set with their medical team. I have worked closely with children with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism, Deafness, global delays, children with feeding difficulties that benefit from calorie packing, along with neurotypical children with ordinary needs. I will also strive to achieve any of your family’s personal expectations and goals. If I could bring my two kids along, I’d love to chat.

I’m a fun, energetic person who likes to get out of my house, and try everything. Whether hiking 10 miles up a canyon, or lying in a field listening to birds, I love to be outside. Some other things I love are music/playing instruments, fixing tech, and using my telescope (which I’ll happily let your kids look through if conditions allow). I have about 8 years of experience. Not all in nannying or babysitting, but also volunteering at children’s events for my library/museum/etc, teaching, supervising large groups at family/church/etc events, and more. One of my siblings is autistic, and I took peer tutoring in school. I have a lot of experience with kids of all abilities, mental and physical. I can help with homework, transportation, sick kids, crazy hours, pets, and more. I’m always eager to see new people, and look forward to meeting you.

Hello! I'm a second year nursing student at BYU. I love kids and have worked with them my whole life. In high school I taught swimming lessons to kids of all ages, i also volunteered at the high school day care. I have babysat for many of my neighbors for date nights out or even week long vacations. I was responsible for getting the kids up, to school, home, to extracurricular activities and then to bed. I also ran a day camp during Christmas time where the kids would come for a day of fun Christmas activities while their parents finished up Christmas shopping. Basically what that long paragraph is saying is, I love kids and would be so excited to work with your kids. I am available monday, wednesday, and friday. Hi! I’m Hannah — I love working with kids and finding simple ways to make their day brighter. I have four years of experience caring for toddlers through pre-teens, and I spent several years leading a small group of elementary students where I planned activities, helped with lessons, and became someone they could count on. I also coached a kindergarten cheer team, which taught me patience, encouragement, and creative problem-solving. I’m calm, friendly, and reliable, and I’m comfortable caring for up to three children. Whether we’re playing outside, doing crafts, finishing homework, or winding down for bedtime, I always aim to create a safe, positive, and fun environment. I communicate with parents however they prefer—quick updates, regular texts, or a recap at pickup.
