Being around children is like seeing the world through a fresh pair of eyes, and that is one of the things I love most! From being a mom myself, to watching countless other littles, teaching in the sunday school classroom, working with foster children, after school programs, and more there is something so deeply fulfilling about nurturing a child and watching them grow! There is a sweet innocence and wonder that comes from each new stage. As a parent, leaving my child with anyone was the hardest thing. Being a person you can trust to love and care for your child while you are away is something that I take very seriously. I have most of my experience in, and prefer, newborn to toddler stages. Hey my name is Emily Prats, I am 19 years old and this fall I became a paraprofessional at a preschool! I absolutely love all of the kids there and love being around them. I can't wait to work with more kids as I grow with the school district. at the moment I work in the special education classroom but planning on getting my CDA next year and teaching in a typical classroom.
