I have taken care of children for as long as I can remember. As a teenager, I worked in a daycare center for 2 and 3 year old children for two years after school. During those two years I would leave after my lunch break from high school and go work as an aide for a kindergarten class my Junior year. Then as an aide in a second grade classroom my Senior year. I also watched children from my church as well as babysat for family and friends children. I went to college and got my associates degree. I planned on being an elementary school teacher then, but I got married and had a child. I decided to watch children in my home and then in a different daycare with the 3 year olds first and then in the baby room until my son started Kindergarten. I substituted for two years in his elementary school until we moved. During this entire time I would continue to babysit family and friends children. I changed careers for a while due to financial reasons. About ten years after that I really wanted to go back to working with children. I started part time for an after school program until I was promoted to front office secretary of the elementary school. I worked there for several years. I helped in the lunchroom and when teachers would need my help. I then left to teach 3-4 year olds in my church day school. I love children of all ages, and honestly they love me too. I moved to Utah from Texas about one year ago. Now I am wanting to babysit date nights and other times when I am needed. I really feel that when you have to be away from your children, that a mom is the best substitute for you.

My "duties" included light housekeeping, meal/snack prep, school drop off/pick up, karate lessons, gymnastic practices, dentist appointments, having LOTS of fun, and loving on the kiddos as if they were my own family. I have been told I am a big kid at heart so its easy for me to "GET DOWN IN IT" with them. In my spare time I enjoy crafting, reading, watching movies, being out in nature, and spending time with my family. I have been married to my best friend for 26 years. I always wanted a tribe of kids, but it just wasn't in our cards. My good Lord has blessed us with lots of nieces/nephews and 5 wonderful godchildren we have had the privilege of helping to raise. I have a reliable vehicle (SUV to keep your precious cargo as safe as possible) with excellent insurance coverage. As you can see, I have done the extensive background checks to help assure you I am a safe place for your family. In this crazy world I KNOW how scary it is to leave your little ones in the hands of a "stranger". I am completely confident upon our meeting, you will know they are in good hands.

My entire life I have dreamed of being a mom, that's still my biggest dream to this day. All of high school, I steadily nannied 2 families, one set of twins, and 4 children under 10. I am currently a college student online, and am 20 years old. I have always enjoyed babysitting and being with kids. My mom had her own in-home childcare when I was ages of 12-15, and was always helping with the kids, since I was homeschooled as well. I have always been around kids and played with them a lot of the day as a child. Once I turned 16, I nannied a 6-year-old and a 10-year-old sister for a year. I have a lot of experience with infants, as well as with bottle feeding and diaper changing. I believe children shouldn't have much screen time, and should do many activities with their hands, and use their brains to figure things out during the day instead of watching a screen.
