Hello! I am seeking part-time babysitting positions to augment my day job as an unarmed security guard. My availability is Friday, 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm, and Saturday from 5:00 pm - midnight. Approximately 10 hours per week is ideal. Being a babysitter for multiple children in my church was my first job, and for over the past 6 years, I have resumed to care for children professionally. My own two daughters are grown, but I still have plenty of warmth and nurturing to give. I care for my young niece and nephew when possible, and have since they were born. I have paid experience as a contract nanny for boy/girl toddler twins, local babysitting, as well as preschool and elementary volunteer work. Consistent safety in everyday activities is extremely important to me, and my calm and easy going manner are very beneficial if an emergency should occur. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I love holding and rocking newborns/infants, teaching hand to eye coordination, tactile stimulation, and just playing and laughing with them! Establishing positive relationships with toddler children by cuddling while reading to them, playing at their level on the floor, and singing and dancing are some are some of my strengths! I enjoy games, crafts, puzzles, and going on nature walks or to the park, with children of all ages! I have a good balance of mature, practical experience with present day child care necessities, including technology. I own a smart phone, but am not constantly occupied with it. I majored in Health, Society, and Policy, and minored in Medical Humanities and Chemistry. I currently work in the Medical Oncology Unit at the Intermountain Health LDS Hospital, and I reside in North Salt Lake! Now that I am no longer an undergraduate student, my schedule has surprisingly freed up quite a bit, despite working and attending classes.
