I have been working with children for 25years. I currently work as a full time daycare teacher caring for elementary students. But available for weekend or weeknight babysitting opportunities. I’m CPR + First Aid certified and I’m Art Teacher. I have extensive experience with children of all ages. I’m patient and enjoy building connections with kids.

I have worked in preschools and with individual families receiving cpr and first aid training and extensive knowledge in child development. In each setting I was able to develop long term relationships with families with children from ages 12wks to 12years. I am strongly focused on making sure children have the best early childhood experiences because these moments really do shape their lives. I have been called a chameleon many times because I am able to use what I have learned and apply it directly to a child's specific needs. It is very important to me that children feel loved, happy, safe and confident in themselves. Through lots of messy crafts, silly songs, fun games and reading your child will grow past your expectations.

I am a 35 years old and have Associates degree in early childhood education and majoring in Psychology at GMU. I've worked at least 11+ years as a caregiver in a variety of settings.  I consistently care for toddler nephews and other families occasionally. I have cared for multiple ages up to 12years old and worked as a long-term/short-term substitute teacher at Fairfax County Schools. I do not have any children or pets myself, but enjoy working with children and an animal lover.  Coming from a teacher's background with experience in the school workplace, I maintain strong caregiving rules as necessary. I have families that I have worked with more than 3 years or more until they don't need a sitter because they moved or kids have grown up. Hello parents!  I enjoy working with kids of all ages, and love watching them learn.  I've been sitting for many families (50+) in the area for the last few years, and I also have a Masters of Education (Elem.
