I have been working with infants and children for the last 10 years and I also have three children of my own. I have my Associate's degree in Psychology and I am continuing my education in hopes to become an Adolescent Clinical Therapist. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified. I love working with kids on a personal level by learning their personality. I use a hands-on approach to gain the trust of both parent and child. Providing childcare isn't just a job, it's accepting to play a large role in a child's life and help guide them as they grow and develop. I love fun and smiles but I also like to promote educational activities appropriate to the child's age (for example going over the alphabet or doing puzzles with a toddler, or practicing tummy time with an infant!) I strive to become not only their babysitter, but one of their best friends. I have a genuine love and passion for kids and I have realized this is my life's calling. I think that providing childcare would be the best job for me while I am continuing my education because it's doing what I love, working in the direction I plan to go with my career and also allows me to keep my son with me while I work, which gives him the opportunity to interact with other children. I have excellent writing and verbal skills, my specialty is drawing and arts & crafts, skilled hider, below average seeker, animal lover, excellent board game player, excellent story time reader and swing pusher, great at cuddling and I know the tickle monster very well, excellent boo-boo kisser, and I may not be the best singer or dancer but that doesn't stop me from putting on a show. I don't mind embarrassing myself for a laugh (well for the kids at least)! It's so easy to make them smile and I absolutely love doing it.

Hello! I'm Rachel — a private pilot currently based in Rappahannock, Virginia. I’m organized, dependable, and genuinely enjoy caring for little ones. Being a sitter is something I love because there's nothing more rewarding than helping children learn, grow, and just be themselves. I also understand how important it is for parents to feel at ease while they’re away, and I’m here to make sure your family is well cared for during that time. My schedule is flexible, I have my own vehicle, and I’m happy to commute if needed. I’m also great with pets, so your furry family members will be in good hands too! Looking forward to the opportunity to support your family.

Hello!(: I am a working college student, and I love to spend my extra time helping as much as I can with babysitting for families, volunteering, and helping out with my immediate family. I love to babysit and nanny children as it gives me an opportunity to help children have positive stimulation through conversation, crafts, outside exposure, trying nutritious healthy foods, and just overall learning more about the world and their surroundings. I look forward to working with you!

My name is Lillian and i have been babysitting ever since i can remember! my mom ran a daycare program when i was younger so i was always helping. i am the youngest of four and i always wanted a younger sibling. When i was 10 i started to watch family friends children on my own and my sister had her first child. i have taken three child development classes and i am continuing my education in early childhood education in the fall locally. my sister just recently had her second child so i am very well versed in infants and young children. my biggest dream is to be a mother so working with kids just makes the most sense for me. i love being outside and interactive and i tend to steer away from screens. i am safe sleep certified and i know CPR.

I am 28 years young and I would love nothing more than to be part of another family. I have always had a natural gift with being good with children. I was previously a STEM and art teacher for a private academy for about 3 years however I have 8+ years of childcare experience. I love watching little minds grow and knowing that I helped them reach their full potential physically and mentally.

Hi! My name is Chasity, I not only enjoy interacting with children but I also enjoy learning with them. I am full of zeal but also really focused. I am 21 with currently 2 years of college under my belt. I thrive much better in small and intimate settings than I do large corporate productions. This is because I can tend to individuals with care and intent as I would desire for myself. It is my goal to own my own day care or facility, potentially a school down the road that teaches early development in productive living! I used to work for a sitting company for Nannie’s and babysitters called Jovie. During this position I met a variety of individuals and traveled to their homes. It was a pleasure, I fulfilled daily scheduling, accompanied in transportation of the children to school, and prepared meals. I also helped organize and tidy around home when necessary and washed clothes if it was previously agreed upon and in the pay range. I am cpr certified and have been serving in the children’s ministry for over half my life because my grand mother is the director of the children’s ministry in my home church. I have worked in the children’s department at Burn Boot Camp back in my home town. During this I spontaneously developed games and activities for children ! As a chosen camp counselor of RMDC located in Boulder, Colorado I also experienced development and training in archery, natural disaster protocols, and behavioral disorder assistance. Another program I was involved in was called Young Marines. During this time I developed skill in camping, survival skills, and community service. It taught me to take discipline and maintain honor. Last but not least I was involved in 4H as well, competing, professionally developing, having fun, networking and meeting new people, and finally working with others in service. Thank you !

I absolutely love working with kids and am very good with them. I took a peer mentoring course for 3 years (from when I was 15-18 years old) where I traveled to an elementary school 3 days a week and helped out in a classroom with kids who needed extra attention. I have helped look after family members many times (ages 5 months to 7 years old). I have worked as a nanny for multiple different families over the last 5 years for children of all different ages. I am very alert and aware when watching after kids and never let them out of my sight. I love being a caregiver because kids are so fun to work with and I am still a kid at heart so I love to be active with them. However, I enjoy helping out with things like homework as well and I am very good at it because of my experience with peer mentoring. I studied biology at University of Mary Washington and I graduated with my Bachelor's in 2017. I played varsity softball at UMW as well so I am good at handling many things at once and I believe am very responsible. I also combined my love for softball and working with youth by volunteering at various softball camps for ages 5-15 for several years. I also currently assistant coach for a 14u travel softball team. Like I said, working with kids is something I really love and enjoy and finding employment opportunities where I get to work with them all the time is fantastic!
