I have volunteered at my church's nursery for about 4 years and have grown to love caring for children. Being able to watch them learn thing about themselves and become their own person is so special and such a unique milestone that I help to provide. I want to better learn how to care for children in more roles than I did at my church and love to help provide assistance within the house. I can meal prep (if shared foods their children like), run errands, do laundry, etc. I also love being outside and going to parks and on walks will be a must if that's okay with the parents. I'm currently a full-time student but have pretty good flexibility within my schedule as I just got done with an internship at the VA State Capitol! I look forward to any opportunity I get!

I'm a natural nurturer and enjoy caring for people, especially children. I have a knack for finding age appropriate activities and hold a tremendous amount of patience as tasks are learned and completed. Being the extra hands to help out is what I'm drawn to do. I am a mom of three and my youngest is now in high school. Over the years I have been a sitter, a home organizer, an in house relief aid for the full-time person and one on one activities companion at an adult daycare.

I am an elementary school teacher in Hanover County and enjoy spending my summers babysitting. I have two children of my own, an 11 year-old daughter and a 7 year-old son. I have worked with children as far back as I can remember starting with helping in the church nursery to spending most every summer being a Nanny. I still love babysitting whenever I am able.
